Did you know Accountability creates Awesomeness?

Let’s start off by exploring what exactly is Accountability? …

If you Google ‘definition of accountability’ you’ll come across a load of results, many talking about lack of accountability, how accountability is applied in businesses, the Government…

For me accountability in its most simple form is the ‘willingness to accept responsibility for your actions’, however here are some accountability associated words that may resonate with you when you consider accountability in your own life -

  • Ownership

  • Responsibility

  • Belief

  • Acceptance

  • Opportunity

  • Progress

  • Solution orientated

  • Momentum

  • Commitment

  • Obligation

  • Answerable

  • Transparency

  • Consequences

  • Visibility

  • Obedience

  • Promises

  • Tenacity

  • Permission

So, how does accountability create awesomeness then?

Well, when you create personal accountability you automatically empower yourself to be in control of your own actions, to be more productive, to give yourself a success measuring tape.  It also creates clarity, purpose and gets you into an energy of action, and away from the pull of procrastination and the return? You achieve awesomeness in multiple areas of your life 🚀🤩

Accountability must be realistically implemented and worked at, being clear and consistent on how you will achieve accountability in your life is the key to success and therefore awesomeness! 😊

If you’re like me and think that accountability is a no brainer but actually holding yourself accountable is the real tricky bit (e.g., I seem to only be able to lose weight if I’m supported to be held accountable, by going to a class, paying my subs and standing on scales in front of a stranger), then do not fear apply this cheeky tool to your life –

Accountability + Action = Awesomeness
