7 Steps to Prevent Burnout

If you’ve attended any of the free live webinars that I run each month you’ll have heard a little about my personal story – from Burnout to Breakthrough.

Having hit a huge burnout brick wall in October 2017 and my life changing in every single aspect, some good, some bad and some very ugly, I’m a massive believer that burnout can be prevented in many cases.

I seriously ignored every single sign, symptoms, every change, every feeling, every emotion, I didn’t consider the Mental Health training I’d had, my life long experience of family members mental, physical and emotional health, and more.  Had my self-awareness, my confidence and my knowledge been stronger I know the consequences, costs and implications would have been very very different.

Through my own personal burnout recovery journey, and subsequently supporting others, I’ve created a 7-step process which can be used in the prevention, and if that’s perhaps a little too late, the recovery of burnout.

The 7 steps are -

1 = Reassess

2 = Recharge

3 = Recover & Rejuvenate

4 = Reinvent

5 = Relaunch

6 = Re-evaluate

7 = Recognition

Each step is incredibly important, and leads on to the next step with ease and flow.

Burnout isn’t just stress, a tick in the box, a sticky plaster will not work, the cracks will very quickly start to reappear and lengthen

Are you concerned about burning out?  Do you have a colleague, a partner, a team that seem on the edge constantly?  Are you emotionally, physically and mentally empty or coming close?

Email me now at hello@clairebakercoaching.com to arrange an informal call to discuss how to apply the 7 steps to yourself, your team, employees, or family members to prevent or recover from burnout through group coaching programmes, 121 coaching or half day online workshops – all of which provide truly personalised results
